Excel Funds Will Support Renovation Of High School Auditorium

OTTUMWA, Iowa - Feb. 19, 2002 - Excel has made a grant of $10,000 to be used to renovate and expand the Ottumwa High School auditorium.
"This auditorium is a great resource for students at Ottumwa High School, but is in need of serious repair," said Randy Zorn, general manager at Excel Pork here. "We are happy to help support this project and others that benefit area students, their families and the community."
When renovated, the auditorium will be used for school plays, assemblies and other performing art programs.
Excel has invested in various programs for Ottumwa schools, including contributions to enhance the high school science department, refurbish local athletic fields, establish the parent-teacher hotline and support the Newspapers in Education program.
